RHINE RIVER AND MORE.
From 1949 to 1990 Bonn used to be the capital of Germany. The city is located on the Rhine River. If you ever visit Bonn I recommend you do a boat tour along the river. You will enjoy the nature and feel peaceful floating down the river. During a boat tour from Bonn to Linz you will be fascinated by the “Siebengebirge” which can be translated as The Seven Mountains. It may sound like a fairytale but within the Seven Mountains there is the Dragenhill “Drachenfels”. On top of the hill there is the dragon castle. The “Schloss Drachenburg” is open for public and a sightseeing destination that you must experience.
HARIBO.
A success story made in Bonn. The confectionery company stands for Hans Riegel Bonn, named after the founder and the city. Famous for its gummy bears the company was established in 1920. While you visit Bonn, make a stop at the HARIBO Store which is located right in the city center.
